Cherry Group is excited to confirm its support for the Get Ahead Partnership, a school-based not-for-profit organisation associated with North Lincolnshire Schools.
The Get Ahead Partnership seeks to inspire and empower every child in North Lincolnshire through sports, well-being, and health by hosting a variety of competitions and events.
Cherry Group will serve as the main sponsor for their annual Primary Sports Awards in July 2025, taking place in Scunthorpe. The awards recognise outstanding achievements and sportsmanship among the students and staff involved in the Get Ahead Partnership.
Directors of Cherry Group, Chris Wilson and Stew Scott, stated: “Supporting local sporting initiatives is at the heart of Cherry Group’s ethos. We already support two local cricket clubs, Cherry Burton Cricket Club and Beverley Cricket Club, and two football teams, Beverley Town Football club and the children’s football team, AFC Tickton Tigers. As our organisation and reach grow, supporting children across Lincolnshire felt like the perfect fit for our goals moving forward."
